You can t pull off an event like the Norsk Hostfest without the help of a number of dedicated volunteers Volunteers take care of a number of duties including taking tickets cooking and cleaning tables and many of them are members of some sort of service club And every year coordinators try to bump up their energy by hosting a joint service club meeting Today Kiwanis members wecomed members of the Rotary Sertoma and the Lions for a little fun and fellowship Duane Brekke Because this is a great city activity and this gives all the volunteers a chance to be launched from one launch pad All your service club members which are your leaders in the community of Minot We all get together and we start right here And tonight s the opening concert This morning we had a breakfast for all of the volunteers and there are lots of them And Chet gets to give a little speech to pep us all up and we go forth The annual joint service club meeting this year included an address by the visiting Minister of Research and Higher education from Norway
