Chili Event Raises Money For Campers

Take about a way to spice up fundraising Some of the areas hottest chili cooks have gathered in the parking lot of the Minot YMCA trying to capture the title as Chief Chili Chef Teams representing ten local businesses signed on for the competition hoping to capture the grand prize which is a day-long business retreat at the Y Camp near Garrison Employees of that business will enjoy activities like horseback riding swimming and canoeing Proceeds raised from the cook-off go toward the Triangle Y Camp and United Way Organizers say they thought this idea had all the ingredients to be a success Russell Gust Chili Cookoff Organizer Well we wanted to do something along with membership appreciation month to kinda just something fun to bring people in to check out the Y and personally I ve always wanted to run a chili cookoff so I thought this was a good opportunity to do it You still have time to get in on the taste testing it ends at 7 00 Categories are red chili white chili and wild game chili

    I love Indian Food. My father was born in India in the town of Simla. I was born in Zimbabwe. My Grandmother was born in Burma. I grew up eating Indian food . We lived in South Africa while I was growing up. I now live in The USA.
