The True Value Hardware store plus The Dollar Store that are located on 16th Street will be closing Officials with the company s corporate offices in Marshall Minnesota admit the store is going out of business but they are not giving details yet like when the last day of business will be We do know that the reason the store is closing is because another business is in the process of purchasing the property Several sources have told us that it is a new store for CVS Pharmacy And in fact CVS has submitted paperwork for the property with the City of Minot At this time an official statement from CVS is that they have not purchased any property in Minot Something new and unique at Wild Things Gallery on 16th Street You can now be served a nice meal inside a teepee Owner Mark Hamilton says they put up a teepee that seats 16 to 18 people It will be used for both the general public or for groups He says they ve also expanded their outdoor cooking menu by using Alaska Alderwood for the steak chicken and salmon that s on the menu each Thursday Friday and Saturday night The Gas Stop in south Minot has been an independent service station for its 22 year history But recently it became a Sinclair station Two private individuals continue to operate Gas Stop The biggest change you ll notice is that they now have 24-hour credit card gas pumps On 2nd Ave SE in the downtown area you will find a business called A Sewing Place Jacque Younger has been sewing for 40 years and recently moved here She does alternations or will make prom or wedding dresses and she holds classes For two years Reservation Telephone Cooperative in Parshall has been working on an addition It s finished now They are having an open house tomorrow from 2 until 4 RTC remodeled its current offices and added on more work space for employees RTC provides telephone and internet service to 11 communities in northwestern North Dakota In Williston the newest hotel in town is Marquis Plaza and Suites There are 55 rooms including executive suites a conference room and pool The hotel is privately owned For Business Beat I m Carla Burbidge
